Colima’s, you’ve got us hooked! Twice in four days – that’s how irresistible the food is. The line of cars speaks volumes, but the quick turnover is a testament to the fantastic fare. Inside might not be a feast for the eyes, but who cares when the staff is friendly, prices are great, and the food is excellent? Huge portions, a salsa bar to die for, and that friendly chaos of orders – it’s a foodie’s paradise. Even a guy I met on the plane gave it a thumbs up!

We randomly stumbled upon this little Mexican haven in North Park, and boy, are we glad we did! The 7 Mares seafood soup was a revelation – loaded with generous portions of seafood and flavor. And those mini street tacos? Pure fabulousness! We spend our summers in SD, and this find is definitely a highlight. Take it from us; this place is a must-visit!

We stumbled upon this gem in North Park, and it may look like a throwback fried chicken joint, but the real magic happens inside. With seating for twenty indoors and another twenty outdoors, it’s a hidden paradise. My wife went for the 7 Mares, a seafood and veggie soup that’s spicy but oh-so-worth-it. As for me, the Carne Asada Street Tacos were a taste bud fiesta! The menu at Colimas is a treasure trove of deliciousness. So, while it might not win a beauty contest from the outside, the mouthwatering aromas and scrumptious dishes inside will make you one happy camper!
